Every Fourth of July weekend, millions of Americans pack up the car, fire up the grill, and take a few days to celebrate. The highways fill up. The coolers come out. And for a few days, it feels like the whole country exhales.
But not everyone gets to pause.
Behind the cookouts and the fireworks, America’s supply chain keeps moving. Trucks are rolling down interstates. Yard teams are staging trailers. Dispatch teams are coordinating loads. Drivers are making deliveries that keep production lines running and store shelves stocked - because freight doesn’t take holidays.
At KC Logistics, we’ve been showing up on days like this for the past 40 years.

When people think about logistics capacity, they usually picture tractors and trailers — and we have plenty of those. But the real capacity at KC isn’t measured in equipment. It’s measured in the people who make it all work.
It’s the driver who pre-tripped his truck before dawn on July 3rd to make sure a just-in-time delivery hits the line on time. It’s the dispatcher who picked up the phone on a holiday weekend to reroute a load around an unexpected delay. It’s the yard team keeping trailers moving so nothing backs up and no customer is left waiting.
These are the people who keep America moving — and we’re proud that so many of them call KC Logistics home.
A Team Built on Service
KC Logistics is honored to employ 68 veterans across our organization — men and women who brought the same discipline, work ethic, and commitment to their military service that they bring to our customers every day.
